1. Who this policy covers
“Faroush,” “we,” and “our” refer to the Faroush software service. This policy applies to visitors of our public website and to people whose information is entered into or processed through a Faroush workspace. A business that operates a workspace decides what customer and prospect information to enter and is responsible for providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required for that information.
2. Information we handle
Depending on how a workspace is configured and used, we may handle:
- Account and workspace information: names, business contact details, login identifiers, roles, workspace settings, and security or audit events.
- Business records entered by users: lead and customer contact details, company information, notes, tasks, communications, campaign and attribution details, and commerce or sales records.
- Website and campaign context: page or event details, referrer, UTM campaign parameters, and visitor identifiers when a workspace has enabled tracking or sends this context with a lead or event.
- Service and device information: technical logs and essential session/security data needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.
3. Google Analytics data and permissions
When an authorized workspace administrator connects Google Analytics 4, Faroush requests the read-only analytics.readonly permission. This permits Faroush to read reports for the GA4 property selected by that administrator; it does not grant access to Gmail, Google Drive, or the user’s Google profile.
For the connected property, the integration reads report dimensions such as date and time, page path and title, referrer, device category, country, event name, session source/medium, and campaign name, together with metrics such as active users, page views, and engagement duration. When configured for attribution reporting, it may also read the GA4 custom client identifier and related traffic-source dimensions to match campaign activity with records in that same workspace.
We use this information to provide analytics, campaign attribution, and marketing reports requested by the workspace. The administrator chooses the property and sync period. Google authorization tokens are encrypted before being stored by the application and are used only to maintain the authorized connection and retrieve the requested reports.
Google API data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to build advertising profiles. It is available only to authorized users of the relevant workspace and service providers acting for Faroush where needed to operate the requested feature. We do not use Google API data for generalized AI model training.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain Faroush features; organize customer, lead, campaign, and sales workflows; produce reports and attribution insights; authenticate users and enforce workspace permissions; provide support; prevent abuse and investigate security incidents; and comply with applicable legal obligations. Optional integrations or AI-assisted features process only the information needed for the feature a workspace user chooses to use.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed:
- with users and administrators authorized within the relevant workspace;
- with a third-party integration selected by a workspace administrator, such as Google Analytics, to provide that integration;
- with infrastructure, communications, or other service providers that help operate a requested feature, subject to appropriate access limits; or
- when required by law, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a legitimate business reorganization.
We do not allow service providers to use Google API data for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.
6. Retention, deletion, and Google access
Workspace information is retained while needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational, security, and legal purposes. Workspace administrators can manage records and connected integrations. Disconnecting Google stops future access through that connection and removes the stored OAuth tokens; previously synchronized report data may remain in the workspace until it is deleted by an administrator or upon a verified deletion request.
You can also revoke Faroush’s Google account access in your Google Account security settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, contact your workspace administrator or submit a request through Faroush Support. Some information may remain in protected backups for a limited period or where retention is legally required.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including role-based access controls and encryption of stored Google authorization credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Depending on the workspace deployment and service providers used, information may be processed in locations different from where the user is located.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and application may use essential session, preference, and security technologies to keep users signed in, protect forms, and maintain requested functionality. A workspace may separately configure website analytics or tracking integrations; those technologies and the information collected through them are controlled by that workspace and its website operator.
9. Children’s information
Faroush is a business software service and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child’s information has been submitted to a workspace, contact the workspace administrator or Faroush Support.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be communicated through the service or this page where appropriate.
For privacy questions or requests, contact your workspace administrator or Faroush Support.

Google
